Nonprofit Board Members are responsible for the assets of an organization and provide oversight, insight and foresight. They are often compared to crows sitting on the crow’s nest, watching for storm clouds and rainbows. While they are not in charge of the day-to-day operations, they have to be aware of the bigger image and know what’s needed to bring things into motion.
